The win moves City up to second place in the Premier League table, one point behind Arsenal.

Manchester City started the game brightly and took the lead in the eighth minute when Foden fired home from close range. Haaland doubled the lead in the 34th minute with a stunning strike from outside the box. Manchester United pulled one back in the second half through Anthony Martial, but City held on for the win.
