Valve is famously silent about its own video games, but for VR adventure Half-Life: Alyx, the company has been surprisingly open about its development. In a recent interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Valve co-founder Gabe Newell said that the company is "really excited" about Half-Life: Alyx, and that it's "a really important project" for the company.

Newell also said that Valve is "not done with Half-Life," and that the company has "a lot more" planned for the series. This is good news for fans of the series, who have been waiting for a new Half-Life game for almost 13 years.

Valve may be finally about to release its first Half-Life game in almost 13 years, but even with Half-Life: Alyx on the horizon, the company is still keeping some secrets close to its chest. In a recent interview with PC Gamer, Valve co-founder Greg Coomer insisted that Valve has "a lot more" on the go than just Aperture Desk Job.
