Bavarian Nordic Secures $17 Million Contract for Vaccine Storage and Supply

Danish company Bavarian Nordic has secured a $17 million contract to replenish its inventory of bulk vaccine and support additional services from 2025 to 2027. The contract will help ensure a sufficient supply of freeze-dried vaccines in the future. It also includes approximately $17 million for additional services, such as vaccine storage, in the period 2025-2027.
The contract follows the commercial launch of Bavarian Nordic's smallpoxmpox vaccine Jynneos earlier this year. The company has already secured several contracts for the vaccine, which is expected to be in high demand due to the increasing prevalence of monkeypox.
